Color Stories in the House!

Anybody who know me, knows that I am the absolute worst secret keeper. I’m not talking bad-I mean the WORST. I did a pretty good job of keeping this one but now, not only is the cat out of the bag, the Benjamin Moore Color Stories colors ARE IN THE HOUSE!

Yes indeedie, Benjamin Moore has a new collection of color that needs testing,, and guess who they’ve asked to do it? Me!!!!!!!!!

Sooo, it’s been big doings around here, and the secret, is not a secret anymore.

I have all the rooms packed to the ceiling and I’ve even filled one bath tub…..

I wanted to have all this stuff out of harms way when the painters arrived. I KNOW! Yes, there are professional painters in my house!!!! Say hi to Andy.

Hopefully I won’t drive them crazy with my tendency to micro-manage a painting project.

I’ll have lots to do now, writing my posts for you, posts for the Benjamin Moore blog, samples to make, lots to paint, glazing glazing gazing, and those dastardly photographs.:) Apparently, the photo guy is a micro-manager as well. He’s rejecting my flip cam photos one after the other. I’m planning to paint six rooms plus two baths and the second floor hall (Don’t forget-I’ve got Andy!) I’ve also called in the heavy hitters-Esmond Lyons and Diedre Gatta-they’ll be helping me with the glazed finishes, painted furniture, and all the other ideas I’ve been dreaming up. Say hi to Esmond!

Best of all, every single can of paint in the stack, is part of a brand new collection of color, from Benjamin Moore, and it’s all full spectrum color. (You can go take a guess at how many gallons of color I”m using on my Facebook page and you could win one of my books). For me, this is all like a dream-painters, and full spectrum color-IN MY HOUSE. I have the privilege to work with this palette of 200 brand new colors previous to the official launch, and I’m to share my every experience from the palette planning to the finishing touches. I’m thinking it doesn’t really matter that I still can’t work a camera-I have full spectrum painting to do. Here’s some of my pictures. Are they really that bad?????

Meet Carissa, chief cook and bottle washer!

Guess it’s a good thing I have photo guy. And anyway, I’m preoccupied, by all these fabulous colors. You are NOT going to believe how absolutely unbelievable this palette is, and I’ll show it all to you next time, or you can go have a peek here.  Let me hear about your color ambitions or any super techniques you’ve discovered? I’ll add them to my testing to-do list. The brushes are out, my workshop is ready. Photo guy has a camera on a tripod at all times (excuseeee me).

Feeling like I need to take Leroy for a gallop, and spread the news-full spectrum color from Benjamin Moore is coming.

Can you guys spread the word? I don’t know how to gallop. :)
